(1) A person may conduct business under an assumed business name if a certificate of assumed business name has been filed with the secretary of state and is in effect.
(2) A certificate of assumed business name is in effect upon filing until it is canceled pursuant to section 30-21-809, Idaho Code.
(3) A certificate of assumed business name does not create an entity separate from the person doing business under the assumed business name.
