Idaho Code § 30-23-603

Effect of dissociation

Known as the Idaho Uniform Partnership Act

The act spans §§ 30–30 (63 sections).

(1) If a person’s dissociation results in a dissolution and winding up of the partnership business, part 8 of this chapter applies; otherwise, part 7 of this chapter applies.

(2) If a person is dissociated as a partner: The person’s right to participate in the management and conduct of the partnership business terminates, except as otherwise provided in section 30-23-802(c), Idaho Code; and

(3) The person’s duties and obligations under section 30-23-409, Idaho Code, end with regard to matters arising and events occurring after the person’s dissociation except to the extent the partner participates in winding up the partnership’s business pursuant to section 30-23-802, Idaho Code.

(4) A person’s dissociation does not of itself discharge the person from a debt, obligation, or other liability to the partnership or the other partners that the person incurred while a partner.
