Idaho Code § 39-251

Compensation of local registrars

Known as the Idaho Vital Statistics Act

Each local registrar shall be paid a fee to be established by regulations adopted by the board, for:

(1) each certificate returned by the local registrar to the state registrar in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and the regulations of the board; and

(2) each report of no certificate filed during any calendar month. The board may establish a graduated scale for the payment of fees to local registrars, either by limiting the aggregate amount of fees to be paid or by graduating the fees according to the number of registrations.
