Idaho Code § 41-1001

Purpose and scope

Known as the Limited Lines Travel Insurance Act

The act spans §§ 41–41 (65 sections).

(1) This chapter governs the qualifications and procedures for the licensing of insurance producers. It simplifies and organizes statutory language to improve efficiency, permits the use of new technology and reduces costs associated with issuing and renewing insurance licenses.

(2) This chapter applies to adjusters to the extent provided in section 41-1108, Idaho Code, and to surplus lines brokers to the extent provided in sections 41-1223 and 41-1224, Idaho Code. Except where expressly made applicable, this chapter does not apply to title insurance under chapter 27, title 41, Idaho Code.
