Idaho Code § 41-1087

Suspension or revocation of license

Known as the Limited Lines Travel Insurance Act

The act spans §§ 41–41 (65 sections).

If a vendor of portable electronics or its employee or authorized representative violates any applicable provision of this chapter including, but not limited to, section 41-1016, Idaho Code, or applicable provisions of chapter 13, title 41, Idaho Code, or an applicable rule, the director may:

(1) Impose an administrative penalty pursuant to section 41-117, Idaho Code. However, penalties arising from the same or similar conduct shall not exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in the aggregate; and

(2) Impose other penalties that the director deems necessary and reasonable, including: Prohibiting such vendor from transacting portable electronics insurance pursuant to the provisions of this section at specific business locations where violations have occurred or from using specific employees or representatives in the transaction of portable electronics insurance; and

(3) Suspending, revoking or refusing to renew the license of such vendor.
