Interns and residents must register with the board prior to the commencement of any activities constituting the practice of medicine in this state. Registration shall include disclosure of the applicant’s prior education and training, the program or course of study the intern or resident intends to follow, the physicians or group of physicians who will supervise the program or course of study and such other information as the board deems relevant. The board shall reserve the right to approve any such program or course of study and shall require registration by the supervising physician. A registration fee shall be fixed by the board and registration must be renewed annually or biannually.
