Idaho Code § 54-3705

Limited permit — Temporary license

(1) A limited permit may be granted to a graduate occupational therapist or a graduate occupational therapy assistant who has completed the education and experience requirements of this chapter for an occupational therapist or an occupational therapy assistant. The permit shall allow a person to practice occupational therapy under supervision as defined in section 54-3715, Idaho Code. This permit shall be valid for a period of six (6) months or as extended by the board.

(2) A temporary license may be issued by the board to an applicant who is currently licensed and in good standing to practice in another jurisdiction and meets the requirements for licensure by endorsement of the other jurisdiction while the application is being processed by the board.
