Idaho Code § 54-5305

Exemptions

Known as the Idaho Liquefied Petroleum Gas Public Safety Act

(1) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to persons or entities engaging in the activities of selling, filling, refilling, transporting, delivering, or the commercial handling of natural gas or petroleum distillates, or persons engaging in the installation or maintenance of equipment used in the selling or handling or use of natural gas or petroleum distillates.

(2) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to persons engaged in the dispensing of LPG into portable containers.

(3) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to facilities engaged in the sale or exchange of portable containers possessing LPG.
