Idaho Code § 55-2020

Service of notice

Known as the Manufactured Home Residency Act

The act spans §§ 55–55 (27 sections).

(1) Any three (3) day notice to the resident as required by the provisions of this chapter may be served either: By delivering a copy to the resident personally; or

(2) If the resident be absent from the lot, by leaving a copy with someone of suitable age and discretion at the lot and sending a copy through the mail addressed to the resident at the lot. If a person of suitable age or discretion cannot be found at the lot, then by affixing a copy in a conspicuous place on the lot and sending a copy by certified mail return receipt requested addressed to the resident at the lot.

(3) Unless otherwise provided, any notice to the resident in excess of three (3) days as required by the provisions of this chapter may be served either: By delivering a copy to the resident personally; or

(4) By sending a copy by certified mail return receipt requested addressed to the resident at the lot.

(5) Service upon a subtenant may be made in the manner as provided in this section.
