Idaho Code § 67-3532

Technology infrastructure stabilization fund

I.C., § 67-3532, as added by 2018, ch. 58, § 1, p. 145.

(1) There is hereby created in the state treasury the technology infrastructure stabilization fund. The fund shall consist of moneys that may be provided by legislative appropriation. The state treasurer shall invest the idle moneys of the fund, and the interest earned on such investments shall be retained by the fund.

(2) Subject to appropriation by the legislature, moneys in the technology infrastructure stabilization fund shall be used solely for: Technology projects requested, recommended, or funded through the annual state budget process pursuant to this chapter including, but not limited to, software development and computer hardware or equipment; and

(3) The legislative services office to evaluate and provide analysis and recommendations regarding the requirements, merit, necessity, cost, compatibility, and monitoring of technology projects that may be requested, recommended, or funded through the annual state budget process pursuant to this chapter, as well as other state technology projects, needs, or issues.
