Conduct of Elections and Making Returns (in Municipalities Under Jurisdiction of Boards of Election Commissioners)

10 ILCS 5/18-1— The provisions of this Article 18 shall be applicable only to and in municipalities operating under Article 6 of this Act
10 ILCS 5/18-2— In any municipality operating under Article 6 of this Act, the election polls shall be open at 6:00 a.m., and continued open until 7:00 p.m., of the same day, at which time the polls shall be closed, and no judge shall be behind time for more than 15 minutes after the time for opening such polls

10 ILCS 5/18-14— The judges of election shall make duplicate statements of the result of the canvass, which shall be written or partly written and partly printed
10 ILCS 5/18-15— The poll books shall be enclosed in an envelope, which shall then be securely sealed with sealing wax, or other adhesive material; and each of the judges shall write his name across every fold at which the envelope if unfastened could be opened
