Automated external defibrillator; attendance centers and extracurricular activities

(a) As used in this Section, "automated external defibrillator" has the meaning provided in the Automated External Defibrillator Act. (b) A school district shall require all attendance centers to have present during the school day and during a school-sponsored extracurricular activity on school grounds at least one automated external defibrillator. (c) An automated external defibrillator installed and maintained in accordance with the Physical Fitness Facility Medical Emergency Preparedness Act may be used to satisfy the requirements of this Section.
