In order to claim general State aid or evidence-based funding, an alternative learning opportunities program must meet the following criteria: (1) Teacher professional development plans should include education in the instruction of at-risk students. (2) Facilities must meet the health, life, and safety requirements in this Code. (3) The program must comply with all other State and federal laws applicable to education providers.
