Annual census of personnel holding school support personnel endorsements

(a) In this Section: "School support personnel endorsement" means an endorsement affixed to a Professional Educator License as referenced in subparagraph (G) of paragraph (2) of Section 21B-25 of this Code. "Special education joint agreement" means an entity formed pursuant to Section 10-22.31 of this Code. (b) No later than December 1, 2023 and each December 1st annually thereafter, the State Board of Education must make available on its website the following information for each school district as of October 1st of each year beginning in 2022: (1) The total number of personnel with a school support personnel endorsement and, for each endorsement area: (A) those actively employed on a full-time basis by the school district; (B) those actively employed on a part-time basis by the school district; and (C) those actively employed by a special education joint agreement providing services to students in the school district. (2) The total number of students enrolled in the school district and, of that total, the number of students with an individualized education program or a plan pursuant to Section 504 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
