Educational consortium; formation

Known as the Youth Crime Prevention Consortium Act

The act spans §§ 110-125-1 to 110-125-5 (3 sections).

Notwithstanding any other law of this State, a university, college, or community college that is an "institution of higher learning" (as that term is defined in Section 10 of the Higher Education Student Assistance Act) and that has a campus located in the same county as a campus of one or more other such institutions of higher learning may join with any of such other institutions of higher learning to form a consortium that operates to supply an educational component to a youth crime prevention program or programs organized by local communities in the county in which the institutions of higher learning that form the consortium are located.
