110 ILCS 62/5-5

"Public university" means any of the following institutions of higher learning: the University of Illinois, Southern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, Eastern Illinois University, Western Illinois University, Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago State University, Governors State University, or Illinois State University, acting in each case through its board of trustees or through a designee of that board.
