20 ILCS 1015/8

Known as the Public Employment Office Act

The act spans §§ 20-1015-0-01 to 20-1015-8-3 (18 sections).

The term "Applicant for employment" as used in this act shall be construed to mean any person seeking work of any lawful character, and "applicant for help" shall mean any person or persons seeking help in any legitimate enterprise; and nothing in this act shall be construed to limit the meaning of the term work to manual occupation, but it shall include professional service and all other legitimate service.
