Transfer of Illinois Onsite Safety and Health Consultation Program

On and after July 1, 2012, as provided in the OSHA Program Reorganization Act, the powers, duties, rights, and responsibilities related to the Illinois Onsite Safety and Health Consultation Program, including, but not limited to, the duty to provide confidential on-site assistance to identify problems and solutions regarding compliance with the requirements of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, are transferred from the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to the Department of Labor.
