20 ILCS 1810/2

Known as the Military Property Act

With the written approval of the Governor, the Adjutant General, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to accept from any grantor, public or private, the conveyance of all right, title and interest of such grantor in and to any real property useful to the State of Illinois for military purposes. Such conveyance may be accepted subject to the condition that title to such property will revert to the grantor or his heirs should such property cease to be used by the State of Illinois for military purposes.
