Conviction information for private carrier company under Metropolitan Transit Authority Act

Upon the request of a private carrier company that provides transportation under Section 28b of the Metropolitan Transit Authority Act, to ascertain whether an applicant for a driver position has been convicted of any criminal or drug offense enumerated in that Section. The Illinois State Police shall furnish the conviction information to the private carrier company that requested the information. (Text of Section after amendment by P.A. 104-457) Sec. 2605-340. Conviction information for private carrier company under the Chicago Transit Authority Act. Upon the request of a private carrier company that provides transportation under Section 28b of the Chicago Transit Authority Act, to ascertain whether an applicant for a driver position has been convicted of any criminal or drug offense enumerated in that Section. The Illinois State Police shall furnish the conviction information to the private carrier company that requested the information.
