20 ILCS 3930/13

This Act shall be liberally construed to achieve the purposes set forth in Section 2 of this Act. Sections 1 through 13 of this Act shall in no respect be considered as a repeal of, nor, except as herein provided with respect to the transfer to the Authority of certain rights, powers, duties and responsibilities of the Illinois Law Enforcement Commission under "An Act creating an Illinois Law Enforcement Commission and defining its powers and duties", as a limitation of the provisions of any existing law of this State concerning law enforcement or criminal justice, but shall be construed as supplemental thereto.
