The Commission shall: 1

Consider and study the benefits to be derived from holding a World's Fair in Chicago in the year 1976 to commemorate the bicentennial anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and to prepare a survey or report which will serve as a basis for such a World's Fair in the event that approval of such World's Fair may be obtained from the United States Government. 2. The Commission shall make a detailed report of its findings and conclusions to the General Assembly not later than March 1 of each odd numbered year and shall submit recommendations for such legislation as it deems necessary.
