For terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Director of Labor shall receive an annual salary of $180,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2023, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Director shall receive an increase in salary based on a cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly. For terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Assistant Director of Labor shall receive an annual salary of $156,600 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2023, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Assistant Director shall receive an increase in salary based on a cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly. The Chief Safety Inspector shall receive $24,700 from the third Monday in January, 1979 to the third Monday in January, 1980, and $25,000 thereafter, or as set by the Compensation Review Board, whichever is greater. The Superintendent of Occupational Safety and Health shall receive $27,500, or as set by the Compensation Review Board, whichever is greater. The Superintendent of Women's and Children's Employment shall receive $22,000 from the third Monday in January, 1979 to the third Monday in January, 1980, and $22,500 thereafter, or as set by the Compensation Review Board, whichever is greater.
