Representing unauthorized company prohibited

(a) It is unlawful for a person as officer, director, clerk, employee, or agent to serve or represent a company in connection with an act performed or contract entered into in violation of Section 121. A person who violates this Section is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. (b) If, after notice and hearing, the Director finds that a person who holds or seeks a license or privilege under the jurisdiction of the Director has represented or served an unauthorized insurer as an owner, director, officer, employee, agent, or producer in connection with the sale or solicitation of insurance contracts or the collection of insurance premiums, the Director may deny, revoke, refuse to renew, or suspend any of the person's licenses or privileges.
