A group or individual policy of accident and health insurance amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 93rd General Assembly must provide coverage for medically necessary bone mass measurement and for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis on the same terms and conditions that are generally applicable to coverage for other medical conditions.
