225 ILCS 10/4.4

For the purposes of background investigations authorized in this Act, "license applicant" means the operator or person with direct responsibility for daily operation of the facility to be licensed

Known as the Child Care Act

In the case of facilities to be operated in a family home, the Department may, by rule, require that other adult residents of that home also authorize such investigations. (Text of Section after amendment by P.A. 103-594) Sec. 4.4. This Section does not apply to any day care center, day care home, or group day care home. For the purposes of background investigations authorized in this Act, "license applicant" means the operator or person with direct responsibility for daily operation of the facility to be licensed. In the case of facilities to be operated in a family home, the Department may, by rule, require that other adult residents of that home also authorize such investigations with the exception of day care homes and group day care homes.
