Fees

Known as the Illinois Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Practice Act

(a) The Department shall provide by rule for a schedule of fees to be paid for licenses by all applicants. The Department shall consult with the Board and consider its recommendations when establishing the schedule of fees and any increase in fees to be paid by license applicants. (b) Except as provided in subsection (c) below, the fees for the administration and enforcement of this Act, including but not limited to original licensure, renewal, and restoration, shall be set by rule and shall be nonrefundable. (b-5) In addition to any fees set by the Department through administrative rule, the Department shall, at the time of licensure and renewal, collect from each licensed audiologist a Hearing Instrument Consumer Protection Fee of $45.
