Rules issued under this Act, including those governing the preparation of a list of response action contractors and the removal of response action contractors from the list as provided for in Section 20, shall not be inconsistent with rules and regulations promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency under the Toxic Substances Control Act, the Clean Air Act, or other applicable federal statutes.
