Dental Disciplinary Fund

Known as the Illinois Dental Practice Act

The act spans §§ 225-25-1 to 225-25-9 (85 sections).

All fees, fines or penalties received by the Department under this Act shall be deposited in the Illinois State Dental Disciplinary Fund, a special fund created hereunder in the State Treasury, and shall be used only by the Department in the exercise of its powers and performance of its duties under this Act, including but not limited to the provision for evidence in dental investigation. All earnings incurred from investment of moneys in the Illinois State Dental Disciplinary Fund shall be deposited in the Illinois State Dental Disciplinary Fund and shall be used for the same purpose as fees deposited in such Fund. Moneys in the Fund may be transferred to the Professions Indirect Cost Fund as authorized under Section 2105-300 of the Department of Professional Regulation Law (20 ILCS 2105/2105-300).
