Any person who uses the title "registered interior designer" in this State without being registered under this Act, or whose registration has been suspended, inactive, or revoked, or who violates any of the provisions of this Act is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Any person who has been previously convicted of violating this Act and who subsequently violates any of the provisions of this Act is guilty of a Class 4 felony. In addition, whenever any person is punished as a subsequent offender under this Section, the Director may proceed to obtain a permanent injunction against such person under Section 25 of this Act.
