Qualifications for registration

Known as the Landscape Architecture Registration Act

The act spans §§ 225-316-1 to 225-316-999 (41 sections).

(a) To qualify for registration as a registered landscape architect, each applicant shall: (1) provide proof of graduation from an approved landscape architecture program as approved by rule; (2) provide proof of experience for registration as approved by rule; and (3) provide proof of successful passage of an examination as approved by rule. (b) Upon payment of the required fee and meeting other requirements as determined by rule, an applicant who is actively registered or licensed as a landscape architect under the laws of another jurisdiction of the United States may, without examination, be granted registration as a registered landscape architect by the Department.
