Administrative hearing

Known as the Fire Sprinkler Contractor Licensing Act

The Office shall give written notice by certified or registered mail to an applicant, licensee, or person of the Office's intent to suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue or renew a license or to assess a fine. Such person has a right to a hearing before the Office. A written notice of a request for a hearing shall be served on the Office within 10 days of notice of the refusal, suspension, or revocation of a license or imposition of a fine. The hearing shall be conducted by the Office or a hearing officer designated in writing by the Office. A stenographic record shall be made of the hearing and the cost of the hearing shall be borne by the Office. A transcript of the hearing shall be made only upon request of the applicant, licensee, or person and shall be transcribed at the cost of that person.
