The Secretary may temporarily suspend the license of a professional land surveyor or surveyor intern without a hearing, simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing under Section 29, if the Secretary finds that evidence in his or her possession indicates that a professional land surveyor's or surveyor intern's continuation in practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public. If the Secretary temporarily suspends the license of a professional land surveyor or surveyor intern without a hearing, a hearing by the Board must be commenced within 30 days after such suspension has occurred.
