License; display and location of license

Known as the Debt Settlement Consumer Protection Act

The act spans §§ 225-429-1 to 225-429-999 (39 sections).

Each license issued shall be kept conspicuously posted in the place of business of the debt settlement provider. The business location may be changed by any debt settlement provider upon 10 days prior written notice to the Secretary. A debt settlement provider must operate under the name as stated in its original application.
