(a) The continuing education requirements for a person to renew a license as a State certified general real estate appraiser or a State certified residential real estate appraiser shall be established by rule. (b) The continuing education requirements for a person to renew a license as an associate real estate trainee appraiser shall be established by rule. (c) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act to the contrary, the Department shall establish a continuing education completion deadline for appraisal licensees and require evidence of compliance with the continuing education requirements before the renewal of a license.
