225 ILCS 470/28

The word "weight" as used in this Act in connection with any commodity shall mean net weight

Known as the Weights and Measures Act

The act spans §§ 225-470-1 to 225-470-9 (59 sections).

Whenever any commodity is sold on the basis of weight, the net weight of the commodity shall be employed, and all contracts concerning commodities shall be so construed.
