Any circuit court may, upon application of the prosecutor or of the applicant or licensee against whom disciplinary proceedings are pending, enter an order requiring the attendance of witnesses and their testimony, and the production of documents, papers, files, books and records in connection with any hearing or investigation. The court may compel obedience to its order by proceedings for contempt.
