Medical students

Known as the Medical Practice Act

The act spans §§ 225-60-1 to 225-60-9-7 (86 sections).

Candidates for the degree of doctor of medicine, doctor of osteopathy, or doctor of osteopathic medicine enrolled in a medical or osteopathic college, accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association or its successor, may practice under the direct, on-premises supervision of a physician who is licensed to practice medicine in all its branches in Illinois and who is a member of the faculty of an accredited medical or osteopathic college.
