225 ILCS 60/42

Known as the Medical Practice Act

The act spans §§ 225-60-1 to 225-60-9-7 (86 sections).

An order of revocation, suspension, placing the license on probationary status, or other formal disciplinary action as the Department may deem proper, or a certified copy thereof, over the seal of the Department and purporting to be signed by the Secretary, is prima facie proof that: (a) Such signature is the genuine signature of the Secretary; (b) The Secretary is duly appointed and qualified; and (c) The Medical Board and the members thereof are qualified. Such proof may be rebutted.
