Reinstatement of existing licenses

Known as the Medical Practice Act

The act spans §§ 225-60-1 to 225-60-9-7 (86 sections).

P.A. 89-702, eff. 7-1-97.

All certificates, permits, and licenses in effect on the date this amendatory Act of 1996 becomes a law, and issued pursuant to the Medical Practice Act of 1987, as amended, are reinstated for the balance of the term for which last issued. All rules in effect on the date this Act becomes law and promulgated pursuant to the Medical Practice Act of 1987, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect on the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1996 without being promulgated again by the Department, except to the extent any such rule or regulation is inconsistent with any provision of this Act.
