Known as the Licensed Certified Professional Midwife Practice Act

The act spans §§ 225-64-1 to 225-64-999 (39 sections).

P.A. 102-683, eff. 10-1-22.

The Secretary may temporarily suspend the license of a certified professional midwife without a hearing, simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing provided for in Section 125, if the Secretary finds that evidence in his or her possession indicates that continuation in practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public. If the Secretary suspends, temporarily, the license without a hearing, a hearing by the Department must be held within 30 days after such suspension has occurred, and concluded without appreciable delay.
