225 ILCS 705/33.12

Laws 1953, p. 701.

If the State Mine Inspector or the Mining Board shall believe any map required by this Act is materially inaccurate or imperfect, the State Mine Inspector or the Mining Board is authorized to make, or cause to be made, a correct survey and map at the expense of the operator, the cost recoverable as for debt; but, if such test survey shows the operator's map to be correct, the State shall be liable for the expenses incurred by the Department.
