(a) The Department shall assess and collect annual fees of $100 per well for each well that is in temporary abandonment status. (b) All annual fees collected pursuant to subsection (a) shall be deposited as follows: (1) one-half of all such fees shall be placed in the Plugging and Restoration Fund; and (2) one-half of all such fees shall be placed in the Landowner Grant Program.
