Definitions

Known as the Petroleum Equipment Contractors Licensing Act

The act spans §§ 225-729-1 to 225-729-999 (24 sections).

For the purposes of this Act: "Employee" means a person who is currently employed by a contractor licensed under this Act whose full or part-time duties include any activity specified in Section 35 of this Act. "Licensee" means a person or business organization licensed in accordance with this Act. "Person" means a natural person or any company, corporation, or other business entity. "Petroleum equipment contractor" or "contractor" means a person, company, or corporation that installs, repairs, or removes underground storage tanks.
