225 ILCS 75/15

Known as the Illinois Occupational Therapy Practice Act

The act spans §§ 225-75-1 to 225-75-9 (49 sections).

Any person who is issued a license as an occupational therapist registered under the terms of this Act may use the words "occupational therapist" or "licensed occupational therapist", or may use the letters "O.T.", "OT/L", or "OTR/L", in connection with the licensee's name or place of business to denote the licensee's licensure under this Act. Any person who is issued a license as an occupational therapy assistant under the terms of this Act may use the words, "occupational therapy assistant" or "licensed occupational therapy assistant", or the licensee may use the letters "O.T.A.", "OTA/L", or "COTA/L" in connection with the licensee's name or place of business to denote the licensee's licensure under this Act.
