(a) No person shall work as an assistant to an orthotist, prosthetist, or prosthetist/orthotist and provide patient care services or fabrication of orthoses or prostheses, unless he or she is doing the work under the supervision of a licensed orthotist or prosthetist. (b) No person shall work as a technician, as defined in this Act, unless the work is performed under the supervision of a person licensed under this Act.
