Authority of Commission staff-Police power

Known as the Personal Property Storage Act

Commission staff have full power and authority in the performance of their official duties to enter into or upon any place, building or premises of any warehouse at any reasonable time for the purpose of inspecting such warehouse operating under this Act, and the books and records of the operator thereof, or for the purpose of obtaining any information pertaining to the manner in which such warehouse business is being conducted. Any such Commission staff has the same powers as are now held by or hereafter conferred upon, any regular law enforcement officer to arrest, with or without formal warrant, any violator or violators of this Act.
