25 ILCS 130/6-1

The Legislative Reference Bureau is hereby established as a legislative support services agency

P.A. 83-1257.

The Legislative Reference Bureau is subject to the provisions of this Act and shall perform the powers and duties delegated to it under "An Act to establish a joint legislative reference bureau and to define the powers and duties thereof", approved June 26, 1913, as amended, and such other functions as may be provided by law.
