25 ILCS 75/15

Member's request for a note

Known as the Home Rule Note Act

The act spans §§ 25-75-1 to 25-75-5 (9 sections).

P.A. 87-229.

If the sponsor of a bill is of the opinion that no home rule note is necessary, any member of either house may request that a note be obtained, and in that case the matter shall be decided by a majority vote of those present and voting in the house of which he or she is a member.
