The Department may, in cooperation with other state agencies, units of local government, and other institutions, plan, prepare, and develop educational programs for the public regarding the use, impact on, and relation of solar energy systems to users, producers, and suppliers of energy, financial institutions, governmental energy programs and policies, the use of our natural resources and the environment, and other such matters.
